Healthy Summer Snacks and Drinks Collab w/ DizzyDreamerBlogs

Hey Guys , 

Today I have an awesome post to share with you guys ! I did a collab with Dizzy Dreamer Blogs , who is one of  my best friends . She just made a blog , and her link will be at the end of this post . 

We are going to be showing you two healthy Summer Snacks and Drinks on each blog . Without further a do , lets get started !! 

Sour Fruit Slushie

You will need : One cup of peach cubes, six raspberries ,ice cubes (amount depends on how much slushie you want to make ) a cup of water ,and half a lemon . (Remember to peel and chop the lemon into smaller pieces )

Step 1:

Blend up the ice cubes in a blender or a smoothie maker. 

Step 2 : 

Add in the all water and blend for a further 10 seconds.

Step 3 : 

Add in the fruit and blend until it begins to look like a slushie. 

Step 4 : 

If the mixture doesn't look like a slushie (too watery) add in more ice and blend until it is slushie -like.

Enjoy !

(btw this was taken when the slushie was half empty , we only remembered to take a photo after we tasted it !)

Apple Snack Pots

You will need an apple, natural yogurt , seeds and berries . 

Step 1 : 

Hollow out the inside of the apple , leaving it looking like a bowl. 

Step 2 : 

Fill the apple with natural yogurt .

Step 3 : 

Decorate it with seeds and berries on top of the yogurt . 

Step 4 : 

Leave in the freezer for about 30 mins if you want the yogurt to harden , but if not , enjoy straight away :)

Bonus Snack : Healthy Watermelon Cake Slices 

We made this with the leftover ingredients we had from our other recipes . 

You will need a slice of watermelon , dark chocolate , seeds and berries . 

Step 1 : 

Hollow out some of the red part of the melon , leaving a thin line of red . 

Step 2 : 

Cover the hollowed out part with a thin layer of dark chocolate , then do the same with the yogurt , on top of the chocolate. 

Step 3: Decorate the slice with seed and berries .

Birthday Haul 2015 ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys ,

 It was recently my birthday , and since birthday hauls are so popular on youtube and in the blogging world , I am going to do that for you today . Before I begin I just would like to say that I'm not bragging by any means , all of these gifts were bought for me by friends or family , or I bought them from money I got for my birthday . I am very grateful for everything I received. 

Let's Get Started ! 

I'm going to start off with the presents my friends bought for me , and I am just going to show you them all collectively . I am not going to name people just in case anyone doesn't want to be named . 

This smells amazing ! I've never owned a large Yankee Candle before , so I got very excited when I opened this ! 

This Lush smells so good also ! It includes the Happy Hippy shower gel and the Magnificent soap with real mango chunks. 

I got this cute cosmetics bag , which will definitely be coming on my holiday to Spain with me , and I also got this tea tree facial scrub , which I have reviewed on this blog befor and I was raving about this in January/February , so I was a very happy girl when I received this. 

These three photos are just bits and bobs that my friends also got me , and I also got the Baby Skin instant pore eraser , which I forgot to photograph , but is literally one of my most favourite things ever. 

I bought these Nike trainers with the money that some of my friends also got me . I fell in love with these when I saw them and I had to buy them . 

My parents bought me an ipad mini 2 , which is by far my favourite present from this year . I am so grateful for this , and I love it so much ! 

My grandparents on my mothers side bought me this Alex and Ani silver bracelet . This is so pretty . The name of the charm is Tree of Life. 

My grandparents on my Dads side gave me a voucher to my favourite shopping center , which I cannot wait to spend on my next shopping spree. 

I am extremely grateful for everything I got for my birthday this year . I could not ask for better friends and family .

Disney's Bad Hair Day 2015 Movie Review ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hi Guys, 

 I recently watched the new Disney movie Bad Hair Day with my little sister and I thought that I would review it for my readers today . 

Let's Get Started !

The Cast 

There are three main parts in the movie and these are the parts played by , in my opinion the most well known actresses / actors in the film . 

  Laura Marano plays " Monica" , a teenage girl obsessed with technology    and runs a blog to get peoples opinions about every aspect of her life . 

 Leigh - Allen Baker plays "Liz" , a secret agent trying to recover a lost necklace from Monica (Laura Marano), who bought it at an antique store for her prom night.

  

Christian Campbell plays "Pierce" a greedy criminal who stole the necklace from an exhibition , afterward the necklace goes on quite a journey and  it ends up with Monica.

The Plot 

Monica is a tech obsessed teen who likes to hear the opinion of her blog audience on major and minor decisions in life , from which haircut to choose , to which dress to wear etc. She bought a diamond necklace in an antique store for her prom . On the morning of her prom things aren't going as planned . The morning continues to get worse when so-called Secret Agent Liz shows up at her door looking for the jewel. 

After a deal is made between the two , they set off to town to buy Monica new accessories for the prom which is now hours away. Whilst this is going on , Pierce , the thief who originally stole the necklace is on the hunt for it also. 

My overall thoughts 

Overall this is a generic Disney  Channel Teen movie. It was good , but also predictable like most other Disney Channel Movies. I liked the plot because it is quite different to most others , and I enjoyed them film . I would reccommend it to young people aged 8-12 .

French Braid Tutorial (Photos and Steps) ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys , 

Today I'm going to be showing you how to do a normal french braid . The model (My little sister) has long hair , but this hairstyle does work in shoulder length hair also . 

The only items you will need are a hairbrush and an elastic band to secure the end of the braid. 

This is what the finished braid looks like : 

This hairstyle is quite easy , it may be confusing at first but when you get the hang of it , it becomes easier each time . 

Step 1: 

Brush the hair out so that it is soft and easy to style. Then , take the front section of the hair and separate it from the rest of the hair. 

Step 2 : 

Split the front section into three sections (as shown in photo above) , and then cross them over each other like a normal braid (as shown in the photo below).

Step 3 : 

Continue like a normal braid , but add in a piece from each side as you braid . Continue like this all the way down the head . The result should be something like this : 

Step 4 : 

When you reach the neck , where you are no longer braiding the hair close to the roots , do a normal braid the rest of the way down . 

Now you're done ! So quick and easy after you have a few goes ! Also , a big thanks to my little sister Sophie who modelled her beautiful hair in this blog post x

Summer evening outfit for €35 ~Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys , 

I know its been almost two weeks since I've posted , and I'm so sorry about that. Anyway , from now on I'm going to be posting once a week , because I don't want to have to spend my Summer Break at a computer all day !! Don't worry, I'll make sure I put plenty of effort into my posts and make them the best they possibly can be . 

Today I'm going to be showing you a Summer look for girls , where everything can be bought online at a budget of €35 .This week I will be doing an evening Summer look which doesn't include makeup. Lets get started !

Trousers

These are from Penneys/Primark for €12.00. I decided to go with trousers instead of a skirt or a dress because they're something different but this style of trouser is so light and comfortable for a Summer evening.

At a bargain of only €7.00 in River Island , the grey colour of this crop top compliments the wine colour of the trousers.

Footwear

These nude and silver sandals are perfect with this look ! They work well with the trousers and at €6.00 in Penneys/Primark , what's not to like ?!

Accessories

With only €10.00 left , this look only needs limited accessories because of the amount of print on the trousers. This gold look bangle from River Island for €6.00 does the trick .

Value Stores... Do they really work ? #3 - Lipbalms ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys , 

Today , by popular demand , I'm going to be doing a Value Stores post , as they're my most popular posts on this blog . Today the subject is lipbalm , and the stores I bought these in were Claires , Euro Giant and Dealz. 

We have all heard of the big lipcare brands like eos and Vaseline , but what about the cheaper , lesser known brands , do they do the same job with just a fraction of the price ? Lets find out !  

Well known brands 

eos , a lipbalm with a waxy finish

Vaseline , has a glossy , smooth finish

Lesser known brands 

Lipsilk is a brand of lipbalms from Euro Giant. I would describe it as a sort of dupe for Labello or Nivea lipbalms. The pack I bought for €1.50 contained 5 flavours , Cherry , Strawberry , Peppermint, Peach , and aloe vera. I thought it was a bargain ! The lip balms are moisturizing , but not long lasting . If you were going to buy this product or something similar , I would advise you to reapply it every hour or so to feel the effect. 

This pineapple lip balm is from Claire's , and I would describe it as a dupe for kids versions of well known brands , eg . Nivea.  This actually works very well. It is perfect as a small present and at €2.50 it is worth a try for something fun. 

This one is a copy of Lip Smackers , but its from Dealz. Out of all three types of lipbalms in this post , this one has to be my least favourite. It just had a waxy finish and didn't feel moisturing at all . If you are buying a soda flavoured lipbalm I would advise buying a more well known brand , because this Jolly Rancher lipbalm didn't work for me .
