Summer evening outfit for €35 ~Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys ,

I know its been almost two weeks since I've posted , and I'm so sorry about that. Anyway , from now on I'm going to be posting once a week , because I don't want to have to spend my Summer Break at a computer all day !! Don't worry, I'll make sure I put plenty of effort into my posts and make them the best they possibly can be .

Today I'm going to be showing you a Summer look for girls , where everything can be bought online at a budget of €35 .This week I will be doing an evening Summer look which doesn't include makeup. Lets get started !

Trousers

These are from Penneys/Primark for €12.00. I decided to go with trousers instead of a skirt or a dress because they're something different but this style of trouser is so light and comfortable for a Summer evening.
                                                         Check it out here !

Top

At a bargain of only €7.00 in River Island , the grey colour of this crop top compliments the wine colour of the trousers.

Footwear

These nude and silver sandals are perfect with this look ! They work well with the trousers and at €6.00 in Penneys/Primark , what's not to like ?!

Accessories

With only €10.00 left , this look only needs limited accessories because of the amount of print on the trousers. This gold look bangle from River Island for €6.00 does the trick .

Straw Trilby
Down to the last €4.00, this straw trilby was meant to be . At exactly €4.00 in Penneys /Primark our outfit is complete !!

I hope you love the outfit as much as I do. Thanks for reading ,

Value Stores... Do they really work ? #3 - Lipbalms ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys ,

Today , by popular demand , I'm going to be doing a Value Stores post , as they're my most popular posts on this blog . Today the subject is lipbalm , and the stores I bought these in were Claires , Euro Giant and Dealz.

We have all heard of the big lipcare brands like eos and Vaseline , but what about the cheaper , lesser known brands , do they do the same job with just a fraction of the price ? Lets find out !

Well known brands

eos , a lipbalm with a waxy finish

Vaseline , has a glossy , smooth finish

Lesser known brands

Lipsilk is a brand of lipbalms from Euro Giant. I would describe it as a sort of dupe for Labello or Nivea lipbalms. The pack I bought for €1.50 contained 5 flavours , Cherry , Strawberry , Peppermint, Peach , and aloe vera. I thought it was a bargain ! The lip balms are moisturizing , but not long lasting . If you were going to buy this product or something similar , I would advise you to reapply it every hour or so to feel the effect.

This pineapple lip balm is from Claire's , and I would describe it as a dupe for kids versions of well known brands , eg . Nivea.  This actually works very well. It is perfect as a small present and at €2.50 it is worth a try for something fun.

This one is a copy of Lip Smackers , but its from Dealz. Out of all three types of lipbalms in this post , this one has to be my least favourite. It just had a waxy finish and didn't feel moisturing at all . If you are buying a soda flavoured lipbalm I would advise buying a more well known brand , because this Jolly Rancher lipbalm didn't work for me .

I hope yue enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed the lipbalms . I will see you on Saturday ,

Fashion and skincare haul ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys ,

I am now on my Summer Break from school, so on my last day of school , my friends and I went to the shopping centre to do some shopping. Some of the items in this haul are from that shopping trip but some are from some other shops .

This is a great face wash! It has made my skin visibly clearer (as it says on the packaging) and it has replaced my regular cleanser in my skincare routine.

I bought this the other day and it is really good. I got it because it has spf 20 , and that is a great advantage for coming into Summer time.

These earrings were €5.99 in Claires but in my opinion they're worth it .

These scrunchies are amazing in Summer time for a half up half down hair style. The white and blue scrunchies were in a pack of two and I bought the other one separately. They were from Claires.

This was from New Look for €4.99 , and I think its so pretty to brighten up a plain outfit.

I got this hairband in a sale in a sole trader accessory shop in my local shopping centre. I think that the colour goes well with a denim dress that I bought recently.

These were from that same accessory shop and I think that they are really cute for Summer.

This is really pretty for a more formal occasion and I love the colour of this hairband . I got this in the accessory shop, too.

I got this in a stationary store and I love the contrast of the black and white against the green. I am currently writing a novel (basically something to keep my brain functioning during the Summer) and I thought this was the perfect book for it.

I can't really remember where I bought this , but I got a tweezers , eyebrow comb and  pocket mirror for shaping my eyebrows. I'm obsessed !

I hope you enjoyed , I'll see you next week.
 Bye xo

DIY Healthy Summer Ice Lollies ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Hey Guys ,

As I am now on my Summer holidays , and probably a lot of you are too , today I have decided to show you a quick and easy healthy Summer ice lolly DIY.

You will need :

A jam of any flavour

Half of a banana

A yogurt and a plastic disposable spoon

Method

Step 1 :

Open up the yogurt and add in a teaspoon of jam . Mix it in and if needed , add in another teaspoon. The amount of teaspoons of jam depends on the size of your yogurt.

Step 2 :

Chop the banana into slices , and try to squash the slices into the yogurt carton. You may need to cut the slices into smaller pieces to fit them all in.

Step 3 :

Snap the spoon in half and use the end of it to act as the stick for the ice lolly. This is why a plastic spoon is essential for this DIY .

Step 4 :

Place it in the freezer for 1 hour so it freezes solid.

Step 5 :

Pop it out of the carton and enjoy !
Being honest , taking these photos was my first time making this DIY and it really turned out better than expected. I urge you to try this because you are missing on extreme yuminess !!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY as much as I did.

I will see you next Saturday ,

Bye xo
