Easy Triple Single Rainbow Loom Tutorial For Beginners ~ Bubble Blossom Blog

Today's post is going to be a little bit different to what my post usually are , but I want to add variety to this blog and since I love making loom creations I thought I'd give a tutorial a go . This is not my own design and I am not in any way claiming that it is.  

Let's get started !

This is what the finished bracelet should look like . 

You will need : 

Bands 

12 bands for each single chain (mine are pink orange and purple )

12 bands to go across the loom (mine are white ) 

 Bands for the extension (I used ten but it depends on your wrist size . Mine were white.)

A loom , I used my Rainbow Loom but any loom will work . 

A hook ,  I used my metal tipped hook but any hook will work . 

You will also need a C/S clip . 

How to make it !

With your loom in the staggered position with the arrow pointing down , place a single chain of bands all the way down the left side of the loom . 

Step 2 :

Do the same on the middle row , placing a single row of bands all the way down the loom . 

Step 3 : 

Repeating the same step again on the right side , do a single chain all the way down to the bottom of the loom . 

Step 4 : 

Add a triangle across the three bottom pegs . This should be in the colour you chose to go across the loom . 

Step 5 :

Continue to add triangles all the way up the loom . Stop at the second set of pins from the top .  

Step 6 :     

Stick your hook INSIDE the triangle at the bottom of the loom on the right  and hook the single chain  upwards . Then hook the entire right single chain upwards . 

Step 7 : 

Do the exact same thing on the middle row , hooking the entire middle single chain upwards. 

Step 8 : 

Repeat that same step again on the left row . Now all of the single chains should be hooked.

Step 9 : 

Using your hook , bring the top of the left and right single chains to the middle pin . 

Step 10 : 

                                    

Stick your hook through ALL of the bands on the top pin . Hook a white band onto the tip of the hook and pull it through all of the bands . Fold over the end of the white band onto the hook . Remove everything from the loom , keeping the white folded band on your hook . 

Step 11 : 

 To make the extension , keep the white folded band on your hook . Hook an extension band onto the end of the hook and push the folded over band onto it . Then fold the end of the loose band onto your hook . 

Step 12 : 

 Continue making the extension by repeating that same step over and over until it is big enough for your wrist . 

Step 13 : Secure the end of the extension with a c/s clip , and attatch it to the end of the triple single . 

                                  
Then You're done ! Your triple single is complete !
